My blog is about women’s issues, Black society, youth engagement, and the media.
I am a PR professional in DC who works at a non-profit organization and I am originally from Los Angeles, CA.
Music is very important to me, so from time to time, I talk about that right here on Black Girl Blogging too.
My favorite shows are Mad Men, The Wire, and The Office. I can’t wait til the third season of Mad Men starts.
My favorite topic to talk about? Black women in the media. I want to be a part of the generation that will forever change the way Black women are portrayed and perceived in our society.
Please enjoy your time here and feel free to comment. You can email me at blackgirlblogging@gmail.com. Please note: I do except pitches at this email address. If you’re a blogger, dropĀ your link so I can add you to my blogroll.
I think this would be a good time to tell you that I’m also on Twitter @loryn24.

I found this site via a link from Afrobella. SOMETHING told me to read the previous posts, and lo and behold, it’s written by my Soror!!
