YEah! I love that Michelle is our new First Lady. She is so fly and smart, and yet still, she’s very family oriented. I will admit I was a little disappointed when she said her role will be “first Mom.” But I know that with the historic nature of Obama’s new position, those kids will have quite a transition to make. Plus, Michelle is so smart, she’ll probably find a niche in some issue during their stay in the White House.

i wasn’t disappointed at all–she’s a mother before anything else and the girls are still relatively young. and hey, maybe she doesn’t want to be a hillary and that’s fine.

The dopest part about this pic is that …their swag looks so EFFORTLESS! Like it didn’t even happen on purpose. They have a timeless quality, a refined sense of TASTE.

Hello there!

Michelle looks nice in this shot!

She really looked like a mess in that photo of her leaving her daughter’s Parent-Teacher Conference the day after the election…sweatpants, baseball cap, unkempt hair…it was just a darn shame!

She has pulled it together quickly!!

Thank you Lord!!

Lisa

i think people forget that she’s a MOM and yes, sometimes moms don’t look fabulous

i know MY mom wasn’t always looking up to par when she came up to my school.

I love Michelle and think she is just the epitome of class. She has a very unique style and at the same time remains somewhat conservative without looking like an old lady. Her and Barack are just the absolute bomb in my eyes. Crazy swag!

They both look so damned great don’t they. Silly but all these pictures bring tears to my eyes because I am SO looking forward to the next 4 years; the last 8 have been so bad.
